Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay

In June, I covered event photography for the Oak Ridges Moraine "Adventure Relay" at the finishing line on Saturday June 7th at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex.

The course begins on beautiful Rice Lake in the east, working its way westward over 160km of biking, running, and canoeing through forests and countryside trails to Aurora in the west. With 15 check points relay teams cover 160 km across the Oak Ridges Moraine.

The Adventure Relay is more than a race—it’s a fundraiser for the Oak Ridges Trail Association, (ORTA) supporting trail maintenance and awareness of the Oak Ridges Moraine’s natural beauty. With athletes from all walks of life, this event showcases the power of nature to bring people together.
