Robert

Artist, Trailside Hiker, Country Side Explorer,
and sometimes driving an old red truck.

Growing up on a farm in Southern Ontario, I spent a lot of time outdoors. Catching frogs at the pond, climbing trees and riding my bike through orchards and hay fields.

After spending much of my career indoors as a video editor, I always look forward to being outside exploring the countryside, camera in hand. My guiding principle is simple: "I pulled over for this." Whether it's a lone tree, a pastoral landscape, or hidden trailside view, I find beauty in the unexpected. I am thrilled to capture those chance moments – the "encountered pictures" that emerge through fortunate accidents. My goal is to create images that invite contemplation, to linger, discover, and to be moved.

These are not just photographs – they are stories waiting to be experienced. Let your walls become a canvas, inviting conversation and connection.

Residing in Holland Landing north of Toronto Ontario, I am fortunate to have many trails and rural areas to spend time outdoors. My wish is that these images will brighten your day.
