Photographing old farm trucks is meaningful to me. Each truck tells a unique story of rural history and hard work. Weathered paint and rusted surfaces evoke nostalgia for simpler times. These vehicles represent agricultural heritage and symbolize resilience and durability. I aim to celebrate their character and the beauty in their imperfections. Growing up on a farm, trucks were an essential part of any farm operation, hauling everything from livestock to delivering produce.
This is part of my collection of farm trucks taken on country outings, close to home and neighboring communities .

The broken headlight contributes a touch of character, while the five horizontal chrome strips exemplify the model year’s elegance. Notably, the 1948 redesign of the M-1 incorporated integrated lights into the front fascia, a departure from the previous design that positioned headlights atop the fenders. This transformation produced a low-streamlined hood accented by half-oval air intakes at the nose, enhancing its aerodynamic aesthetic.
