Capturing Winter Magic
Want to experience old world charm right here in Canada? Quebec City has the right amount of winter magic to put you in a festive mood.
In December, I explored Quebec City's picturesque Lower Town, a magical area along the St. Lawrence River known for its 17th-century French heritage and cobblestone streets dating back to 1608. The historic buildings and festive holiday decorations made winter strolls through the narrow lanes, lined with quaint shops especially magical. On a cold evening, I struggled to keep my camera steady for a clear photo, finally holding my breath and leaning in close to capture the perfect shot. Afterwards, I warmed up with a comforting cup of hot cocoa. Many of my favourite holiday scenes from this trip made it onto my Christmas cards.
My goal for the new year is to get outside more this winter to photograph a collection of snow scenes. Stay tune for new featured photos!
